What it’s like

Cù Bòcan is Tomatin’s smoky range, distilled for a few weeks a year with peated barley. Its name recalls a ghost dog from local legend. The Signature version combines bourbon, sherry and wine casks, and offers soft, sweet smoke over fruit, vanilla and spice. It doesn’t have Islay’s iodine. It is a friendly, aromatic smoky Highland whisky.

Nose
Wood smoke, vanilla, ripe fruit and a touch of spice.
Palate
Sweet and smoky. Caramel, dried fruit, soft smoke and pepper.
Finish
Medium, with sweet smoke and a hint of spice and vanilla.
