What it’s like
BenRiach is one of the few Speyside distilleries that distils peated malt every year. The Smoky Twelve combines that spirit with bourbon, sherry and Marsala wine casks. The smoke is soft and sweet, very well integrated with the fruit, honey and spice. It doesn’t have Islay’s iodine character. It is an elegant smoky malt that is easy to enjoy.
