What it’s like

Tomatin’s fourteen-year-old matures in bourbon casks and finishes in tawny port casks. The wine brings red berries, plum and chocolate to the distillery’s fruit and honey, and the 46% ABV strength gives it good body. No smoke. It is a fruity, indulgent and very rounded malt, and one of the best-value Highland malts.

Nose
Red berries, plum, honey and milk chocolate, with some vanilla.
Palate
Juicy. Red fruit, caramel, cocoa, soft spice and oak, with some vanilla.
Finish
Medium to long, with fruit, chocolate and a spicy touch.
