What it’s like

A Glenfiddich version designed for those who enjoy bourbon. It matures for fourteen years in bourbon casks and finishes in new, heavily charred American oak casks, which give it more vanilla, caramel and spice than the twelve-year-old. It keeps the house’s fresh fruit and has no smoke. It is a warm, sweet malt, a very good bridge between American and Scotch whisky.

Nose
Vanilla, caramel, pear and a touch of toasted oak and cinnamon.
Palate
Sweet and warm. Toffee, vanilla, ripe fruit, spice and some coconut.
Finish
Medium to long, with sweet oak, spice and a hint of caramel.
