What it’s like

One of the best-selling single malts and a benchmark for understanding the Speyside style. It matures in American and European oak, which gives it a fresh, fruity profile, with pear as its hallmark and a soft background of vanilla and oak. It has no smoke and its body is light to medium, so it is very accessible for those starting out with malts. It is easy to find and usually reasonably priced for its age.
