What it’s like

George Dickel is the other great Tennessee distillery, smaller and more craft-oriented than Jack Daniel's. As the style requires, it filters its whisky through maple charcoal, but does so chilled, which gives it a smooth, rounded profile. No. 12 has more body than No. 8: caramel, vanilla, sweet corn and a touch of spice and fruit. It is a friendly, very well made Tennessee whisky.
