What it’s like

Glengoyne distils its malt without peat, with air-dried barley, and matures it mainly in sherry casks. Its fifteen-year-old combines European and American oak for a rich, balanced profile: dried fruit, baked apple, toffee and spice. It has natural colour and no smoke. It is a very complete malt, a good step between the twelve and the eighteen-year-old.

Baked apple, raisins, toffee and vanilla, with a touch of cinnamon.
Palate
Rounded. Ripe and dried fruit, caramel, spice and nuts.
Finish
Medium to long, with spice, oak and a hint of toffee.
