What it’s like

One of the wine-finished malts in Arran’s permanent range. After maturing in bourbon casks, it spends a final period in port casks, which add red berries, chocolate and a richer sweetness to the distillery’s bright fruit. It is bottled at 50% ABV, without chill filtration and with natural colour, and has no smoke. It is an indulgent, intense malt that gains with a few drops of water.

Nose
Red berries, plum, milk chocolate and a touch of cinnamon and vanilla.
Palate
Juicy and intense. Cherry, strawberry, toffee, cocoa and soft spice, with good body.
Finish
Long and fruity, with chocolate, spice and a hint of sweet wine.
