What it’s like

Glengoyne’s eighteen-year-old matures in sherry casks, some first fill, and shows the distillery’s richest side. It has dried fruit, orange marmalade, chocolate and spice, with a silky texture. As no peat is used, the sherry comes through clean and smoke-free. It is a mature and very elegant malt, ideal neat.

Nose
Orange marmalade, raisins, chocolate and sweet spice, with some vanilla.
Palate
Silky. Dried fruit, toffee, cocoa, cinnamon and elegant oak.
Finish
Long, with spice, chocolate and dried fruit, with a touch of orange.
