What it’s like

The Dalmore, with its emblematic stag on the bottle, is known for a rich, chocolatey style. The twelve-year-old matures first in bourbon casks and then in oloroso sherry casks, and the result is indulgent and rounded: orange, chocolate, toffee and warm spice. It has no smoke. It is a Highland malt that is very easy to enjoy for those after dessert flavours and a smooth texture, and a very handy gift.

Nose
Candied orange, chocolate and toffee, with vanilla and warm spice in the background.
Palate
Smooth and indulgent. Cocoa, dried fruit, caramel and cinnamon, with a hint of orange.
Finish
Medium, warm and chocolatey, with a touch of orange and soft spice.
