What it’s like

BenRiach The Twenty One combines whisky at least twenty-one years old matured in four types of cask: bourbon, sherry, virgin oak and red wine. Part of the whisky is lightly peated, as is the house tradition. The result is a mature, complex malt, with fruit in syrup, honey, spice and a very faint smoke. It is bottled at 46% ABV. An elegant, little-known aged malt.

Nose
Fruit in syrup, honey, spice, oak and a very faint thread of smoke.
Palate
Elegant. Ripe and dried fruit, honey, nuts, spice and polished oak.
Finish
Long and warm, with spice and a hint of honey and soft smoke.
