What it’s like
One of The Balvenie’s most popular malts. After maturing for fourteen years in traditional oak casks, it finishes its maturation in casks that held Caribbean rum. That finish adds a very marked tropical sweetness to the distillery’s honeyed character: caramel, banana, mango and vanilla, with an oak background. Smoke-free and very easy to enjoy, it is a great choice for those who prefer sweet, fruity whiskies, and a gift that usually hits the mark.
