What it’s like
A Balvenie matured in American oak bourbon casks and finished in first-fill bourbon casks. This brings the distillery’s sweetest, brightest side to the fore: honey, vanilla, citrus and fresh fruit. No smoke. It is lighter than DoubleWood and a very good malt for discovering Balvenie’s honeyed style.
