What it’s like

A Speyside malt very popular in France and increasingly easy to find in Spain. It combines whisky matured in traditional oak casks with whisky matured in sherry casks, and the result is friendly and rounded: red apple, honey and spice, with a background of dried fruit. It has no smoke. It is excellent value for money and a good way to get to know Aberlour’s fruity, slightly spicy style.

Nose
Red apple, honey and cinnamon, with a touch of raisins.
Palate
Smooth and rounded. Fruit, toffee and sweet spice, with some oak.
Finish
Medium, sweet and spicy, with hints of baked apple and dried fruit.
