The Glenrothes matures its malt mainly in sherry-seasoned casks, and its twelve-year-old makes it clear with a fruity, spicy profile. It has ripe fruit, vanilla, citrus and a touch of dried fruit, with a smooth texture and natural colour. No smoke. It is a rich but light Speyside malt, easy to enjoy. It works neat or with a few drops of water.
