What it’s like

Triple Wood is The Glenturret’s entry malt, with no age statement, matured in three types of cask: European and American oak sherry casks and bourbon casks. It is smooth and fruity, with dried fruit, honey, vanilla and spice. No smoke. It is a friendly malt for getting to know the distillery and a good step before the twelve-year-old. Enjoy it neat or on the rocks.

Nose
Raisins, honey, vanilla and soft spice, with some fresh fruit.
Palate
Smooth. Dried fruit, caramel, vanilla, spice and cereal, with some honey.
Finish
Medium, sweet, with a hint of spice and oak.
