What it’s like

One of the variants in Glen Moray’s Classic range: the house malt, matured in bourbon casks, spends a final period in sherry casks. The finish adds dried fruit, spice and a darker sweetness without erasing the fresh Speyside fruit. No smoke. It is a very inexpensive way to try a sherried malt.

Nose
Raisins, toffee, apple and a touch of cinnamon and vanilla.
Palate
Smooth. Dried fruit, caramel, fresh fruit and sweet spice, with some vanilla.
Finish
Short to medium, sweet, with a hint of spice and sherry.
