What it’s like

Strathisla, in Keith, prides itself on being one of the oldest working distilleries in the Highlands and is the malt heart of Chivas Regal. Its twelve-year-old, uncommon in shops, is rich and fruity, with ripe fruit, nuts, honey and a hint of sherry and spice. It has no smoke. It is a very interesting malt for those who enjoy Chivas and want to know where much of its character comes from.

Nose
Ripe fruit, nuts and honey, with a touch of sherry and spice.
Palate
Rounded and rich. Dried fruit, toffee, malt and soft spice.
Finish
Medium to long, warm and fruity, with a hint of walnut.
