What it’s like

Koval is a Chicago distillery founded by a couple of Austrian and American origin, which works with organic grains and its own stills. Its bourbon has an unusual recipe: corn and millet, with no rye or wheat. The millet gives it a smooth, sweet and somewhat floral profile, with vanilla, caramel and fruit. It is bottled barrel by barrel at 47% ABV. A different and delicate bourbon.

Nose
Vanilla, caramel, flowers and a touch of fruit and sweet cereal.
Palate
Smooth. Toffee, vanilla, millet, ripe fruit and light oak, with a floral touch.
Finish
Medium, sweet and clean, with a hint of vanilla and caramel.
