What it’s like
Bladnoch is Scotland’s southernmost distillery, in Wigtownshire, and after years of intermittent closures it came back strongly under new owners. Its ten-year-old matures in bourbon casks and is bottled at 46.7% ABV, without chill filtration. It is a fresh, creamy Lowland malt, with fruit, vanilla, honey and spice. No smoke. It takes a few drops of water well.
