What it’s like

Eighteen years in sherry-seasoned American and European oak casks. The American oak brings vanilla and a lighter texture, and the European oak, dried fruit, spice and chocolate. The result is a mature and very balanced Macallan, less dense than the Sherry Oak of the same age. No smoke. A luxury malt, elegant and indulgent, for special occasions.

Toffee, candied orange, vanilla and ginger, with a chocolate background.
Palate
Rich and smooth. Dried fruit, caramel, spice, nutmeg and polished oak.
Finish
Long and warm, with spice, cocoa and a hint of dried fruit.
