What it’s like

Dark Horse is the most intense version of Alberta Premium: it blends rye whisky with a little bourbon and a small share of sherry, something Canadian rules allow in their blends. The result is a dark, rich whisky, with caramel, dried fruit, rye spice and oak. It is bottled at 45% ABV. A full-bodied Canadian, very good neat and in cocktails.
