What it’s like

The Glenlivet’s classic twelve-year-old, matured in American oak and in European oak previously seasoned with sherry. It combines the house’s typical fresh fruit with a somewhat sweeter, spicier background of toffee and nuts. It is smooth, balanced and smoke-free, a very representative example of the Speyside style. Ideal for those after a friendly malt to drink neat or with a few drops of water.

Nose
Pear, apple and flowers, with vanilla, toffee and a touch of nuts.
Palate
Smooth and balanced. Orchard fruit, honey and caramel, with soft spice.
Finish
Medium, sweet and fruity, with a faint hint of oak.
