What it’s like

A fourteen-year-old Glenlivet that finishes its maturation in French cognac casks. The finish rounds off the house fruit with notes of grape, apricot and soft spice, and gives it a slightly richer sweetness than the twelve-year-old. It is still light, elegant and smoke-free. It is an easy, fruity malt, interesting for seeing what cognac brings to a Speyside whisky.

Smooth and fruity. Stone fruit, caramel, vanilla and sweet spice.
Finish
Medium, delicate, with ripe fruit and light, spicy oak.
