What it’s like

An Irish pot still with plenty of history, born as the brand of a Dublin wine merchant and now made at Midleton. It combines bourbon and sherry casks, according to the brand, and is fresher and fruitier than Redbreast: green apple, pear, mint, spice and a vanilla background. It has the oily texture typical of the style. It is a very pleasant, bright whiskey, perfect for spring and summer.
