What it’s like

For many people, the fifteen-year-old is the sweet spot of the Glenfarclas range. Bottled at a higher strength, it offers intense but balanced sherry: raisins, plum, dark chocolate and spice, with well-integrated oak and a dense texture. It has no smoke. It is a whisky to drink slowly and a very interesting reference for those who already know the more common sherried malts and are looking for something more concentrated without entering luxury prices.

Nose
Prune, dark chocolate and spice, with orange and oak.
Palate
Dense and rich. Dried fruit, toffee, cocoa and spice, with noticeable oak.
Finish
Long, warm and spicy, with dark fruit and an oak background.
