What it’s like

A blend from Mars Shinshu, the Hombo family’s whisky house, with distilleries in the Japanese Alps and in Kagoshima. It is smooth and fruity, with ripe fruit, vanilla, honey and a touch of spice and sherry. It is an accessible Japanese whisky, designed for drinking neat, on the rocks or in a highball. Note that the origin of all the whiskies in the blend is not confirmed here.

Nose
Ripe fruit, vanilla and honey, with soft spice and a touch of sherry.
Palate
Smooth and sweet. Caramel, fruit, faint spice and cereal, with some oak.
Finish
Medium, sweet and clean, with a hint of fruit and vanilla.
