What it’s like

One of the most recognisable whiskies in the world and the perfect example of the Islay style. It is intensely peated, with a medicinal character of iodine and seaweed that leaves no one indifferent: you either love it or hate it. Under the smoke there is a sweet vanilla background from the bourbon casks. It is not a whisky to start with if you don’t like smoke, but it is essential for understanding what an Islay means.

    Es posible que este sea mi whisky favorito. Me parece de lo mejor que hay dentro de los ahumados clásicos de Islay. Y además no se han "ido a la parra" con el precio.
