Lagavulin 16 Year Old

One of the great Islay classics and one of the most admired peated malts. Its sixteen years of ageing round off the peat smoke and wrap it in sweet notes of nuts and ripe fruit, with a dense body. It is intense but elegant, less medicinal than some of its island neighbours and very deep. Ideal to drink slowly, neat or with a few drops of water, once you know smoke is your thing.
