What it’s like

The twelve-year-old version of Dewar's follows the house’s double ageing method: after blending, the whiskies rest together again in the cask so that they integrate. The result is a honeyed, rounded blend, with more body than White Label, plenty of honey, vanilla and ripe fruit. The malt from Aberfeldy, owned by the brand, provides that sweet, smooth character. Smoke-free, it is a very pleasant, versatile option, both neat and in a highball.

Nose
Honey, vanilla and ripe fruit, with a touch of caramel and cereal.
Palate
Smooth and honeyed. Honey, toffee and nuts, with light spice.
Finish
Medium and sweet, with hints of honey and soft oak.
