What it’s like

Dewar’s eighteen-year-old blend is dense and silky, with Aberfeldy’s honey to the fore and ripe fruit leaning towards compote. The long maturation adds spice, nuts and friendly oak. It has no smoke. It is a whisky to drink neat, highly recommendable for those who enjoy sweet profiles and are after an aged blend at a reasonable price.

Nose
Heather honey, apple compote, vanilla and nutmeg.
Palate
Silky. Honey, stewed fruit, nuts, caramel and soft spice.
Finish
Long and sweet, with oak, spice and a hint of honey.
