What it’s like
Glen Scotia is one of the three distilleries still working in Campbeltown, once the whisky capital of the world. Double Cask matures in first-fill bourbon casks and finishes its maturation in Pedro Ximénez casks, according to the brand. It is sweet and spicy, with raisins, caramel and vanilla, and a briny touch typical of the area. A good way to discover Campbeltown at a reasonable price.
