What it’s like

The Elements series from Milk & Honey, the Tel Aviv distillery, explores the effect of different casks on its malt. This version finishes in sherry casks, which add dried fruit, spice and chocolate to a malt that, because of the city’s heat, matures very quickly. It is bottled at 46% ABV. No smoke. A rich, rounded malt, a good example of Israeli whisky.

Raisins, dates, spice and a touch of chocolate and vanilla.
Palate
Rounded. Dried fruit, toffee, spice, cocoa and cereal, with good body.
Finish
Medium to long, spicy, with a hint of sherry and raisins.
