What it’s like

Jameson Crested revives one of the first labels Jameson bottled under its own name, when the distillery stopped selling whiskey only in bulk. It has a higher proportion of whiskey matured in sherry casks than classic Jameson, and that shows in more dried fruit, chocolate and spice, with the usual smoothness. It is a rounded, somewhat richer Irish whiskey, good neat or on the rocks.

Nose
Dried fruit, milk chocolate, vanilla and a touch of spice and wood.
Palate
Rounded. Raisins, toffee, cocoa, soft pepper and Jameson’s typical fresh fruit.
Finish
Medium, with spice, chocolate and a sweet hint of dried fruit.
