What it’s like

Alberta Premium is the whisky of the Alberta Distillers distillery, in Calgary, which has specialised for decades in rye from the Canadian prairies. Unlike many Canadian whiskies, which are mostly corn, this one is made only with rye. It is spicy and light, with pepper, herbs, caramel and a floral touch. A simple, authentic Canadian rye. It works well in cocktails.
