What it’s like

New Riff is a distillery in Newport, in northern Kentucky, opened in 2014. It decided to bottle all its whiskeys under the bottled-in-bond rules, at 50% ABV and at least four years old, and without chill filtration. Its bourbon has plenty of rye and is spicy and rich, with caramel, pepper, fruit and noticeable oak. One of the most respected young distilleries in Kentucky.

Rich and spicy. Toffee, rye, fruit, vanilla and oak, with plenty of body.
