What it’s like

The Spice Tree is a Compass Box blended malt finished in casks with new French oak heads, toasted to different levels. That oak brings what gives the whisky its name: clove, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg over a rich, sweet Highland malt base. No peat. It is a spicy, warm and very aromatic whisky.

Nose
Cinnamon, clove, vanilla and ripe fruit, with a background of toasted oak.
Palate
Warm and spicy. Ginger, toffee, stone fruit and toasted oak.
Finish
Long, with sweet spice, ginger and dry, elegant oak.
