What it’s like

Maker's Mark 101 is the higher-proof version of Maker’s Mark wheated bourbon, bottled at 50.5% ABV. For years it was only sold at the distillery shop and in certain markets. It keeps the smooth, sweet character that wheat brings, but with more body: caramel, vanilla, nuts and spice. A more intense, indulgent Maker's.

Nose
Caramel, vanilla, toasted bread and a touch of cherry and cinnamon.
Palate
Rich and smooth. Toffee, vanilla, sweet wheat, spice and toasted oak.
Finish
Long and warm, with caramel, spice and a hint of oak.
