What it’s like

Kavalan, in north-east Taiwan, surprised the world by winning international awards a few years after opening. The subtropical climate speeds up maturation, and its classic malt is very fruity and floral: mango, pineapple, honey, vanilla and a touch of spice. It has no smoke. It is a very aromatic whisky that is easy to enjoy, ideal for those after tropical profiles and a way to get to know Asian whisky beyond Japan.
