What it’s like

Linkwood is an Elgin distillery whose malt goes almost entirely into blends; its only regular official release is this twelve-year-old from the Flora & Fauna series. It is a floral, fruity malt, with apple, flowers, grass and a touch of cereal, very delicate. No smoke. A Speyside rarity for those who want to go beyond the well-known malts.

Nose
Flowers, green apple, freshly cut grass and a touch of wax.
Palate
Light and floral. Fresh fruit, honey, cereal and light oak.
Finish
Medium, clean and fruity, with some spice and flowers.
