What it’s like

Aultmore is a discreet Speyside distillery whose output went almost entirely into blends until it launched its own range. The twelve-year-old is bottled at 46% and is fresh, herbal and fruity: freshly cut grass, lemon, pear and a sweetness of malt and honey. It has no smoke. It is a very clean, elegant malt, ideal for those after freshness and an alternative to the better-known Speysides.
