What it’s like

Port Askaig is an Islay malt brand from Elixir Distillers, an independent bottler, which doesn’t reveal the distillery of origin. It takes its name from the island’s harbour. Its eight-year-old, bottled at 45.8% ABV and without chill filtration, is a clean, coastal Islay: peat smoke, citrus, salt and a sweet vanilla background. A direct and very well made smoky malt.
