One of the most awarded whiskies on Islay. Ardbeg combines bourbon and sherry casks and bottles it at natural cask strength, without chill filtration. The sherry brings raisins, dates and chocolate that merge with the distillery’s deep smoke, in a whole that is very intense yet balanced. At over 54% ABV, it takes a few drops of water well. It is essential for those who love powerful, smoky malts.
