The Tyrconnell is a historic Derry brand, named after a racehorse that won against all odds in 1876. Today it is made at the Cooley distillery as a double-distilled malt, in the Scottish rather than the Irish style. It is light, fruity and fresh, with citrus, white fruit, honey and vanilla. No smoke. A delicate, affordable Irish malt.
