What it’s like

Bradan Orach means “golden salmon” in Gaelic, referring to the River Spey that gives the region its name. It is Speyburn’s entry malt, with no age statement and matured in bourbon casks. It is light, fresh and sweet, with fruit, honey and vanilla. No smoke. A simple, cheap malt for getting to know Speyside. It works neat, on the rocks or in a highball.

Nose
Green apple, honey, vanilla and a touch of freshly cut lemon.
Palate
Light and fresh. Fruit, soft caramel, cereal and vanilla, with no rough edges.
Finish
Short, clean and sweet, with some cereal and vanilla.
