What it’s like

Gooderham & Worts revives the name of what was the largest distillery in the world in 19th-century Toronto. Today it is made at Hiram Walker and blends whiskies from four grains distilled separately: corn, rye, barley and wheat. Each brings its own contribution, from the sweetness of corn to the spice of rye. It is bottled at 44.4% ABV. A complex and very well balanced Canadian.

Nose
Caramel, rye spice, fruit and a touch of cereal and vanilla.
Palate
Rounded. Toffee, pepper, ripe fruit, cereal and oak, with a touch of vanilla.
Finish
Medium to long, spicy and sweet, with a hint of cereal.
