What it’s like

Balcones’ malt is distilled from malted barley in copper stills and matures in the hot Texas climate, in new and used casks. Bottled at 53% ABV, it is intense and rich, with ripe fruit, toasted cereal, honey, spice and oak. It is one of the most awarded American malts and a good example of what is made outside Scotland.
