What it’s like

The version of Tamnavulin with a longer finish in different types of sherry cask. It gains dried fruit, chocolate and spice compared with Double Cask, without losing the house smoothness. No smoke. It is an indulgent, inexpensive malt for those who want to try the sherry style without spending much. It works neat or on the rocks, and it is a good next step after Double Cask.

Nose
Raisins, plum, milk chocolate and sweet spice, with some vanilla.
Palate
Sweet and rounded. Dried fruit, toffee, cocoa and vanilla, with a touch of orange.
Finish
Medium, with spice and a hint of dried fruit, with some cocoa.
