Auchentoshan is the Lowland distillery known for triple distilling all its whisky, which gives a light, delicate spirit. Its eighteen-year-old matures in bourbon casks and shows a mature, elegant side: honey, toasted almond, fruit and fine oak. No smoke. It is a smooth, complex malt to drink neat. Best enjoyed neat.
