What it’s like

Loch Lomond Original is the entry malt from the Loch Lomond distillery, with no age statement. It matures in American oak casks and combines the fruitier spirit from its straight-necked stills with that from its traditional ones. It is light, sweet and fruity, with a very faint touch of smoke. An affordable, easy everyday malt.

Nose
Fresh fruit, vanilla, cereal and a very faint touch of smoke.
Palate
Light. Apple, caramel, vanilla, cereal and some spice, with no rough edges.
Finish
Short to medium, sweet and clean, with a hint of cereal.
